Are you looking for ways to save money on attractions? I get it. It’s hard after you’ve forked over hundreds for a flight, hundreds more for a room, to go and spend hundreds on things to do in your destination.

I’m always on the hunt for some great deals, no matter where we’re traveling. These are a few ways to save money on attractions that I’ve tested and I think the value is exceptional.

CityPASS

If you’re not familiar with CityPASS, you pay one price to visit a city’s top attractions. For example, in Tampa, you get tickets to Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, ZooTampa, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium all for $109. That’s about a 50% savings if not more. Most of the cities have your choice of 5 attractions and are always around 40-50% savings. Some of these cities even cost less than $100

The Sightseeing Pass is another bundle-and-save type of pass. They have dozens of cities, including international.

Trusted Tours and Attractions often have the trolley or hop on hop off style tours bundled with other attractions. These are fun and informative ways to see the city with a little extra. We did this in Savannah and had a lot of fun. We’ve also used hop-on busses in Philadelphia, Boston, and New York City.

One of my favorites that we’ve used was the GoCity Card. We used this in Boston to custom design what attractions we wanted bundled together. You can also do an unlimited pass to visit any attraction in a 1,2,3 or 5-day window.

Groupon

Groupon is not just about getting deals in your hometown. When you visit Groupon, change the location to your destination to see what types of activities there are. You can save on dining or attractions.

Better yet, check out Groupon Getaways for savings and package deals on hotels, all-inclusive vacations, cruises, and so much more.

Entertainment Book

Do you remember those Entertainment books you could get for about $20 and it was filled with coupons? The app is the same thing, only you don’t need to pay $20 to use it. Plus, it works for dozens of US and Canadian cities. You can subscribe monthly for $1.99. Think you’ll use it for the whole year? It’s only $9.99 for a year. While you do select a city upon joining, you can easily switch between cities. We used the Entertainment book for Philadelphia, New York City, and Orlando.
