Recently I surprised my family with annual passes and a stay at one of the Universal Orlando Resorts, which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. To begin with, my kids and I are huge fans of the Harry Potter series, both books and movies. This was also the first time they have been to Universal and the first time I’ve visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Let me just tell you…
The detail (of course) is what got me, especially on the Diagon Alley side. In fact, Gloria said she could live there and I don’t blame her. You truly feel as if you’ve stepped out of the theme park and into Diagon Alley. The towering buildings completely submerge you into the world.
For me, I had an endlessly fascinating time wandering the alleyways reading all the signs of the different shops. You’ll recognize some of the shops from the books, but many others are directly out of the imaginations of the theme park creators along with JK Rowling.
And yes, I took more pictures than what I am sharing here below. Feel free to click on any of the images to enlarge the view.

Ready to buy your Universal Tickets. I recommend the park to park tickets so that you may ride the Hogwarts train between parks.
