Okay, Moms, it’s almost your day, bring on the Mother’s Day gifts. Breakfast in bed, a clean house, flowers, maybe some peace and quiet?
That’s not a given around here. In fact, it’s not always something I want for Mother’s Day (besides the clean house!) Last year I wanted an adventure for Mother’s Day, so we did a morning paddleboard tour on the Dora Canal, check out my review here. Then we got dirty with a mucky duck run at Revolution Off Road. This year I took matters into my own hands and booked us a stay in Daytona Beach.
As a mom who loves to travel, there are definitely a few travel related items on my wish list. The following are a few of my favorites. Pass this along to your significant other or your kids as a hint, hint…here’s what this traveling mom wants!

Beach towels just don’t cut it when heading to the beach. I love this portable parachute style blanket (?). It’s sand proof, which really means the sand brushes off easier than a towel. It has pockets to put sand in, to weigh it down, as well as stakes. Click the image to buy.
Coverups and Wraps
Speaking of the beach (it is almost summer after all) Mom needs a stylish cover-up that can take her from beach to dinner. I am in love with these kimono style coverups and they dress up a pair of jeans and tee too. Click the image to buy.
Moms never get time to read, and with everything she has to pack, adding books just isn’t feasible. Get mom her own kindle and unique accessories so she can read while traveling. Click below to browse all Kindle products.
I know one thing I hate is getting all my cords mixed up when traveling. This cute little travel case for small electronics holds small cameras, memory cards, cords with pockets for all. Click the image to see more.
Mom doesn’t always need more stuff and the mom who loves to travel simply wants to travel more! Book mom a stay at a Bed & Breakfast, or get her a gift card that she can use on her next vacay.
