At 5 Napkin Burger in Hell’s Kitchen, you will find a modern bistro atmosphere with a chic and welcoming dining experience centered around their classic burger. While they also serve chicken burgers and veggie burgers for the more health conscious, you won’t regret trying of their gourmet options like the Korean BBQ or truffle burger. Their burgers are made big with care, and they strive to elevate the burger experience to its top shelf. At 5 Napkin Burger, a knife and fork are optional, but 5 napkins are required.

Tony’s Di Napoli

Location: 147 West 43rd Street

With plenty of seating and generous portion sizes, Tony’s Di Napoli is located close to both the Theater District and the Rockefeller Center. They serve up traditional Italian fare at affordable prices for the entire family. Their generous portion sizes make this a great spot to bring the family. Serving some of the best Old New York Italian since 1959, their cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions with recipes that have been handed down through generations. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes for lunch or dinner.

Broadway

Junior’s Restaurant

Location: 1515 Broadway

Situated in Shubert Alley, Junior’s is famous for its classic American menu and beloved cheesecake selection. Open late so you can even stop in for a post-show midnight snack, your family will love the easygoing spacious atmosphere and selection of sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads. This NYC staple has been around since the 1950s, and has become a famous spot for great food, fun service, and of course, the best cheesecake. Their restaurant is located in the heart of the theater district, so if see a Broadway show with the family, this is a great spot to by before or after the show.

This may be a chain restaurant, but the food at this informal Mexican style eatery is both fresh and delicious. From their fresh guacamole they make in front of you and house-made tortillas, Chevy’s Fresh Mex is a convenient, reasonably priced option in the heart of Times Square. And the grown-ups in your family will love happy hour and the large margarita variety.

Family Friendly Restaurants in Midtown Yum Yum Too

Now that you have restaurants covered, it’s time to find some entertainment while you’re visiting, or your family is visiting you in NYC. We suggest finding a Broadway show to see after dinner, as many of these restaurants are close to the theater district. Find Broadway shows that the entire family will love at prices that won’t break the bank. After all, you can’t spend time in NYC without seeing a hit on Broadway.
