One of my favorite places in all of Florida is the beaches along the west coast. If you love the sugar sand beaches, sunsets, warm ocean waters from the Gulf of Mexico, St. Pete Beach ranks among the top beaches in the world for all of that and more. If you need a place to stay in St. Pete Beach, the Alden Suites Beachfront Resort is by far one of the best hotels in the area.
I was invited as press to visit Alden Suites for their annual Blogger Bash. All opinions are my own. Some photos courtesy of the resort.
My favorite part of this St. Pete Beach Resort is that while there are 141 rooms, it feels like you’re in a family-friendly resort. In fact, the Alden Suites Beachfront Resort has been family owned and operated for 50 years.
Unlike other hotels in the St. Pete Beach area, Alden Resorts has a “no resort fee” policy. The price you see is the price you pay. To me, that makes it one of the best hotels in St. Pete Beach.
The beachfront resort offers the following:
- Lushly landscaped courtyard
- Two outdoor heated pools
- 15 person Jacuzzi
- Barbeque grilling area
- Beach volleyball
- Two lighted tennis courts
- Corn hole
- Basketball court
- Ping pong table
- Laundry facility
- Business center in the lobby
- Cabana Beach Bar
- Grab & Go Gift Shop
- Alden Oasis Food Truck
- Courtyard conference room
- Beach lawn outdoor event space
- Cabana chair rentals | bar beverage service for cabana renters
- Water sport rentals
- Boat tours: dolphin watching, sunset cruises, cruise to nearby islands
- Free guest access to offsite Fitness Center
- Tickets to area attractions sold in Grab & Go Gift Shop
- Publix® groceries delivery powered by Instacart®
Each of the rooms at Alden Suites Resort has a fully equipped kitchen with a patio or balcony. All suites include FREE Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, large closets, refrigerators, cooktops, microwaves, cookware, dishes, coffeemakers, and utensils.
Choose from poolside studios, gulf front suites, or their adorable bungalows here.
We stayed in a Gulf front suite and the views were spectacular. In particular, I loved how the beds and kitchen area were separated by 2 doors. If I had a family with young kids, I can see putting them to bed and hanging out with my spouse on the balcony in the adjacent room. As it was with my traveling companion, she liked to sleep in. I was able to get the coffee started and watch the sunrise from the balcony. Pure bliss if you ask me!
St. Pete Beach
The best part of a beachfront resort? Uh, the beach, obviously!
Alden Suites is directly located on St. Pete Beach and within minutes of any room you can stand in the sugar soft sand.
The beachfront resort has cabanas for rent at a reasonable $25 a day.
Additionally, paddleboards and jet skis are available to rent. And if you want a real adventure, sign up for a parasailing trip.
However, the best part of the beach is, in fact, the beach. St. Pete Beach is clean, soft, and on the warm Gulf waters. And of course, sunsets!
